Ehhh

Need to start updating this more frequently. Nothing really new to post but here is a car I see parked at some barber shop each morning on the way to work. Thing makes me want to be super american and get an old american car. So neat.


Also I did a free event at Adams Kart Track last night. Totally forgot how hard that place was to drive at. I totally sucked the first hour and a half and got it real down the last 30 minutes. I feel as if I should go back to conquer it to the max. Busted my front and rear bumper up, it was my first time having my rear bumper drag behind me after I hit something. I wanted to keep driving with it like that but they stopped me and took it off. Assholes. Isn't that broken but def. is messed up. I plan on finishing this aero off at the upcoming 626 competition on someones car or skull. Then new BN will be bought and maybe a new color so I wont have an exact twin anymore..... Oh yeah I broke my mounting holes on my license plate too. Ugh.

Last Night

Headed out to Perris last night with Karl to spectate his car being finished. And because I was tired of seeing Karl's cars progress being presented with cell phone pictures. No offense. Needless to say the car looks awesome. This is definitely a clean build for sure. Made me want to do cool things to mine. I had also been craving chili cheese fries from Carls JR for the longest time. Luckily that is exactly where we went. And it sho was good.



I decided I wanted to drive home when there was near nobody on the freeway so headed out from there around 3:30 and it was a chill cruise home.

Strippin

Last week I started on completely gutting my interior since I have the Cube to drive now.

I have heard a lot of people regret doing it but whatever. Not like I have to daily drive it anymore.

Next came the dry ice. The first section I did came off real smooth. That was the only section that did....
It just went on like this throughout the whole car. Did it til around 1:30 am. My back was feeling amazing afterwards. It is almost completely done but the wheel wells since its thinner. Guess I have to use a heat gun and a scraper for that. Then wire wheel all the residue off. Then comes the cage. Hopefully tonight at that.

And with that I will exit with this picture.

I kind of want to start using this again. Maybe just post random photos I take each day.

Went over to Kyle's to see the awaited departure of his 510 once again. Hasn't been driven in ages...He got his diff welded and I was quite excited to see a 510 with a ka and welded diff. This is probably the only cool 510 out there that actually has style. Thing was scraping out of the driveway and everything. He gets on the street and pops the clutch and then everything dropped aha. The bushings on his mustache bar were GONE. Pretty much the diff and everything connected to it dropped to the floor. That was cool for several seconds. Snapped a few pics of the aftermath. That is how low it really is. That is NOT how much camber it usually has aha. Can't wait til he fixes it and puts his matching rear wheels back on.

Star Trek

A few friends and I went and saw Star Trek last night. I love the original series and movies and wasn't sure if I would enjoy this new one, but I did. I felt all the actors of the main characters were chosen wisely and it just felt like they matched the originals quite well. I really recommend going and seeing this movie.

Court House

So I was at the court house today taking care of a fix it ticket. The line was pretty long and it was hot as hell in there. Well there was a guy that was about in the middle of the line and he was just holding his phone. The damn phone was blasting some club mix. I didn't mind the music it just seemed rude to everyone else that this guy is just sitting here blasting some music on his phone in this dead quiet area. Then when he got to the window he had that "You're a Jerk" song playing on it while talking to the lady at the window. Shit was rude. I got real angry at that. Then some dude behind the window asked if he could stop it and then he just looked at him and kept playing that shit. What the hell is wrong with people.

Just to keep everyone updated this is how my car sits now. Only everything is primered and getting ready for paint. Just have to fiberglass one of my front fenders then should be good to get painted. Red that is. Since I have a roll of chrome red vinyl lying around I am just going to do the hood in that. Seemed pretty neat in my mind.






I was looking at my car with the URAS on it. So glad I got rid of it.

Some Update

Kind of forgot about this thing. Finally did an event yesterday after not driving for a while. Felt good. Had my new aero on and everything. Track was a bit rough but had a blast nonetheless. I really recommend going out to the Inland Drift events on Saturdays out in Perris. Fun event and good people.

After putting my rear bumper on the exhaust was still behind the bumper trapping all the fumes in there and back into my car. Driving out to WSIR and back my eyes were burning like hell. So on Saturday I decided to drop by the local muffler shop and had them re route it in the outward direction. They got everything welded together and it looked super good then I looked under the car and the exhaust was sitting as low as the tire now. I told them that isnt going to work whatsoever and so the guy just heated up two spots of my exhaust and pretty much just pushed it up. -_- It now comes out really flat and I am not that happy with it. Oh well. Next time.

First Entree

So today at work I had an interesting and pretty funny thing happen. Our store opens at 11 and it was 10:55 and we hear a knock at the door. Some guy is standing there and says why don't you open the hell up yet?! I just stare at him and say we open at 11 man and walked away. I don't remember what he said but all I remember is, "you fucking idiot" and as I am walking away I hear him kick on our glass door as hard as he could then hear a door shutting and a car taking off. He then calls our store maybe an hour later and says, "I just wanted to let you guys know that your customer service sucks." I got a good laugh out of that. It's sad that we get such angry ass customers at our store. A hobby store.
